26th Annual LCHA Tennis Classic 2010 in collaboration with Tollab

Dear Friend:

It is that time of year again where we hold our annual Tennis Classic. The LCHA Tennis Classic has been a mainstay of our Association’s social and fundraising effort for twenty-six years now.  Many players have been with us from the beginning and are still going strong.

Once again this year, we are pleased to announce that the LCHA Tennis Tournament will be organized in collaboration with Tollab, the Lebanese Student Federation. Members of Tollab, along with some students have joined the Organizing Committee bringing along an energy and enthusiasm that will draw the attention of their peers.

Proceeds from the 2010 event will go directly towards our important Scholarship Fund. In 2009, the LCHA was able to make a difference in the academic pursuits of over twenty students by handing out scholarships to those in good standing with a financial need. Thanks to the generosity of our members, tennis players and sponsors, many budding doctors, engineers, business, arts and science majors benefited from the LCHA scholarship program in their pursuit to securing their future in this great country.

Please see the attached forms if you would like to play in the tournament or be a sponsor for it. Send them to us as soon as possible so that we may reserve your participation!

As always, thank you for your support!

LCHA Board of Trustees

Your 2010 LCHA Tennis Classic Organizing Committee:

Andrée Assaly, Maya Daher, Habib Haddad, Khadije Jizi, Susan Kouri

Please note:  If your business is able to make a donation in-kind towards either off-setting the costs of running the event or as a gift in our raffle, that would be greatly appreciated.  Areas requiring sponsorships include refreshments such as fruits and water, tennis balls, player’s gifts, trophies, printing and catering.  Popular raffle gifts include travel, jewellery, sporting equipment and clothing, restaurant certificates, cosmetics and other unique items.

LCHA’S ANNUAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT ON MAY 24, 2009

The LCHA’s annual tennis tournament will be taking place on May 24 2009 and this year is the 25th Anniversary of this landmark event for our association. To commemorate it, the LCHA will organize the tournament in collaboration with Tollab, the Lebanese Student Federation, and so we are hoping to have participation from all generations of our community. The tournament will be taking place at Tennis 13 in Laval, and as many of you know, you don’t have to be Rafael Nadal or Serena Williams to participate in our tournament. It’s just a great day of tennis, with a dinner celebration in the evening and anyone who has attended will tell you that it’s a great event. So don’t forget to mark the date of the tournament in your calendars, and be sure to get in touch with us if you would like to play or be a sponsor.
