Thanks to the generosity of individuals and corporate members who have made financial contributions directly to the fund or by sponsoring LCHA events designed to raise money for the Alexander Shatilla Scholarship Fund,  close to 600 scholarships to needy students from our community have been granted since its inception

Throughout the years money raised for the Underprivileged Children’s Fund has enabled the Association to help improve the lives of needy families through a variety of means. The LCHA annual Christmas Party for Underprivileged Children provides needy children with a fun filled day and a gift from Santa Claus. Food vouchers are also distributed to families through this fund.

Through the L.T.B. Humanitarian Fund, financial support has been provided for a growing number of humanitarian causes, including the Ladies Aid Society.
